COVID, Batman, Sunod, Martin Luther King JR. Day

Wow! The last post I’ve made here was last year back in September. Well, with the new job I got here, it seems that I’m doing a pretty crappy job doing as an artist. I really do try and do my art whenever I have my tools beside me. So what happened:

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER: Work & Halloween. But I got to do these:

NOVEMBER: I pretty much got COVID. The experience was the worst. It was hard for me to breathe. I got weird and fucked hallucinations, I got tired so easily, and I didn’t get to eat normally. I lost weight (which was one of the two most awesome things that happened during this illness). The second most awesome thing was seeing Jim Lee’s Batman statue in Los Angeles.

When I knew that I got the virus and felt really terrible that I might die from it, I uploaded all of the SUNOD pages that I’ve scheduled to post right away on the site. I had the scare that I might not share all of my art stuff to everyone.

DECEMBER: Mabuti buhay pa. Christmas. Started to draw again.

Nowadays and even before, 90% of my time is work. 7% is sleep and the last 3% is drawing. That’s why my churn out of SUNOD pages is slim. I’ll have to hone my storytelling skills again so I can continue doing SUNOD.

Anyway, all for now! Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
